George Dockrell and Lorcan Tucker helped Dublin University to their first win of the season in a comprehensive victory over North Kildare.

In a contest reduced by rain to 30 overs, Trinity made 181 for 6 with Dockrell top scoring with 78.

He struck 5 sixes and 4 fours, sharing a 121 partnership with Tucker who hit 6 fours and a six from his 52 in 51 balls.

Skipper Will von Behr chipped in with 27, while Clint Auret took 2 for 30.

North Kildare's debut game in Division Two turned into a nightmare as they were skittled for just 49, with only Matthew Auret (15) and Josh Uddin (11) reaching double figures.

Dockrell took 3 for 2 to complete a fine all-round game, while professional Matt Petrie also claimed three wickets, with von Behr and Finlay Glen claiming a brace apiece in the 132 run win.
