Saturday 14th May

There's only one place to start our Division Two round-up and that's at College Park where Conor Hoey rolled back the years in a vintage display as Trinity beat Cork County.

The former Irish international answered a late call-up for Lorcan Tucker and turned in a Man-of-the-Match display as Trinity overcame a poor start to beat the Munster men by 95 runs.

With Trinity reeling on 83 for 6, Hoey top scored with 48 from 55 balls (6 fours, 1 six), adding vital runs with Matt Petrie (30) as they posted 202.

In doing so he passed the 1500 runs landmark for the club - only the 5th person to do so.

He then picked up two wickets to extend his lead as the club's highest wicket taker and took a stunning catch at slip to complete a Carlsberg day.
