Dublin University lost for the second weekend in a row when they were beaten by four wickets against Balbriggan at College Park.
Isobel Joyce top scored with 31 in their modest total of 125 - skipper Will von Behr (21) and professional Matt Petrie (18) both chipping in.
John Mooney (2-20) bowled steadily - one of his victims being his former international colleague George Dockrell for a single.
Ehtesham Ahmed (2-14) and professional Muhammad Farrukh (2-17) also picked up a brace.
Balbriggan were indebted to James Warsop who hit 8 boundaries in a fluent 46 as they claimed the four wicket win despite the best efforts of Dockrell - who took 3 for 16 in his ten overs.
Duane Harper (19*) and Khalid Bilal (10*) edging their team over the line with an unbroken 7th wicket stand of 37.
